tail light gaurds

I want to get a set of westin tail light gaurds for my 2002 expy. dose anyone have these? i would like to know how they attach the exterior side of the light.

I personally do not have them on the Ex now, but I have had them on my other trucks. But they mount using a bracket mounting them using the existing holes on the top of tail light, and then a additional hole needs drilled on the interior of tailgate area.

greatly appreciated those are the instructions i was looking for but couldn't find lol. so the outer edge just rests on the tail light or body im assuming? gonna need to add a rubber bump stop to them to protect the truck body

They only mount in 2 areas. The outer side does not rest against anything, nor does it touch any part of the body, unless they get bent.

we have a pair on our fire dept expy. i dont know the make but those do have a little nub with a rubber pad that sits a hair away from the lense.
