So far I have a 3.5/2" leveling kit installed but I'd like to get a little more lift. What are my options without having to do a fuller suspension lift kit? I'v seen body lifts for my 03 only through trick trucks and it's $1100. Can I lift up the torsion bars still?
You'll be pleasantly surprised with the lift. I may be a little biased since I'm running 315's on mine. Take off your running boards and you'll notice a nice difference as well
I remember seeing a thread a while back where someone made a custom wire mesh grill out of some sort of chicken wire...or along those lines that they got at a hardware store. Anyone have any info or a link or pics?
I think the back will be fine so I won't worry. So far the tires seem fine. I actually have a 2nd gen 2wd year 2003. Will that make any difference? I'll check tomorrow for the wear and call a place or two.
A while back I installed a leveling kit. 3.5" in front and 2" in the rear. I never had money for an alignment but now I do. do I need to get an alignment for just the front or both front and rear? I figure the rear would be fine since it's locked straight and isn't nearly as high. What do you...
I would agree had I run more than 2 lights per set of lines or a higher wattage. According to US standards, 14 ga under 25ft can handle 32-34A conservatively. 2 lights are pulling 16A per line so only half the capacity. I've ran the lights continuously on without the wire even getting warm. So...
Hey guys after lifting the expo slightly, added a few procomp 100watt explorer lights. I picked them up for $10 ea on CL. Wound up re painting and re finishing them. I mounted all for on the front luggage rack carrier. I spaced them by placing each one in a different recess in the roof for water...
Just go to your local audio shop and get a basic Kenwood, sony or reputable brand with one. They shouldn't run more than $70-100 if you only want aux in. Id recommend getting one with Bluetooth if you're evening contemplating it. They're only a little more and are well worth it. I have a Kenwood...
Hey guys finally go the lift done and got some BFG All terrains. For future reference for anyone who wants to do this to theirs this is what I went with.
3.5" spacer in the front, 2" spacer in the rear. Kept stock rims and plastidipped them. Went with BFG LT315/70R17 All Terrain tires. They...
I don't think ill ditch the stock rims with as many miles as it has but it was definitely worth lifting it. Looks so much more manly and like a truck instead of a soccer dad car. Cheers

I have an '03 Eddie Bauer. Do 2003 eddie bauers come factory air bag rear suspension? I just noticed today that the rear has normal coil overs without any air bags. Just trying to figure out if that was a factory option or if it was an aftermarket conversion that I have before we bought it at...
Just installed the front today with tallsville! Thanks a bunch, super nice guy. Took about 2 hours for the left front then 30-40 min for the right. Beginners learning curve. Talls helped me through the first and I did the second by myself.
I plan on installing the rear soon and getting some...
Pretty simple leveling kit

I do not have the tools to do this. I talked to my mechanic today and he was saying I probably wouldn't need an alignment. Hm....Will have to see what happens after installation.
Just got this bad boy in the mail for my '03 Eddie. 3.5" up front and 2" rear. What should I expect to pay for installation?
