FYI, the latest version of the google map update (yesterday) enables google maps in the split screen view in carplay. I can’t find any settings but the system remembers the last map app you opened and puts it in the split screen. I mostly use Waze and that one is not supported yet. Now how about...
Mine has glitched several times and the passenger one wouldn’t turn on until a restart of the vehicle.
You can try holding the power button down until they hard reset but other than that the passenger one usually works after the restart.
I think he said the year and model is a 2015 KZ29RL. No bunks and has the rear living room. Bunks would have been nice!
Here is the sticker. We just got back. Easy going both ways.
I’m overloaded here and she pulled it like a champ. Never saw trans temp over 230 degrees and that was at 100 degree ambient. It’s favorite temp was 223 and bounced between there and 219 at highway speeds. The 230 came on a 0-70 mph run from a stop with the accelerator firewall’d (just because)...
ACC has grown on me now that learned how to use it better. I set it about 5 mph above traffic flow and am quick on the accelerator to close the gap if some clown is trying to sneak in between me and the follow car. Also don’t be afraid to use the cancel button for quick unanticipated maneuvers...
Just realized that my recirculate button stays on now when I push it even after a restart. Other settings are level 3 Auto, ac button light on, with temp typically set at 68 degrees.
Thanks for the info and tips. I’ll mostly be on flat lands with a little Texas hill country near the destination. I’m a little nervous being fully loaded but also excited to push the systems to design specifications. Luckily it’s a short run, only about 500 miles round trip. I’ve already...
Great summary @Greg Parker! I’m pulling out for a 5 day river trip with a 30’ KZ Sportsmen borrowed from a friend this Thursday. Looking forward to seeing gas mileage and trans temps during the journey. This will be the first trip near load limit with this rig.
I used these and am happy with color, brightness, and pattern.

Check with the rental place who is supplying the WDH as it should already include the 2” shank and ball that inserts into the receiver.

Update: Got mine back and they said my wategates are rattling but it's still in spec. It's basicaly going to have to throw a code before they will fix under warranty. The shop foreman said anything you hear in the first minute after startup Ford is now considering normal. He even said they are...
Have the same on my passenger window. Rattles worse when outside temp is below 60 degrees. I can also eliminate the rattle with a quick tap on the down button. Ford can’t seem to recreate and fix the problem when I take it in. Let’s us know if you find a solution.
Deals are tied to your home zip code. Nothing you can do about it unless you go rent an apartment in that zip for a month. It’s a bunch of bullshit. Why should the guy in a different area get a $10,000 incentive and I only get $2,500.
hmmm. So coming out of first gear sometimes it feels like the vehicle is going to stall (shudders). Could this be leakage from the wastegate causing loss of boost? I was thinking transmission but this makes more sense since the trans is showing no other issues throughout the other gears.
I just dropped mine off for the 30 second to 1 minute rattle at start up. They did cam phasers with the new part in February. Hopefully I’ll be getting new turbos because I think the sound is coming from the wastegate linkage.
