Mine was too old and yours was to new....
With mine SCT had came back with they weren't going to update their database and I would need to take it to Ford to update to a new PCM version which would have probably put me at the same version as you or newer...so that would have been interesting...
@LokiWolf any actual details on why the HPTuner would be better than the SCT. Such as what data points it would capture that the SCT wouldn't in a datalog?
I see a bunch of various tuner companies offering their custom tunes on both. Seems strange they would do such if their tunes are going to...
Please let me know if 5 star is able to hand you tunes without issue. Clearly your PCM is running a newer version then my 2018 is.

The one thing that I am curious is if after a PCM update if the transmission has a smoother shift. I did find a TSB for the F-150s that addresses harsh shifts via a PCM update.
If a PCM update is available for the Expedition it will be strange that the same TSB isn't for the Expedition seeing...
I sent them the code and then they came back with unsupported and need the PCM updated. However, I saw such also when I try to use the included SCT tune for the Expedition.

On my end yeah bought the SCT from 5 star with custom tunes and they are the ones telling me that SCT is saying I need to go to Ford and have them update the PCM.

Anyone using one of these? After reading the strategy code for the custom tune SCT is saying not supported and I need to have Ford upgrade the PCM. This is on a 2018 Exp Max.
Anyone else run into such?

Do you only have the lows on in that first pic with the garage door? The beam seems to be hitting super high. Driveway angled or anything like that?
I have the same bulbs and mine did not hit so high. Mine were barely higher than stock beam hight.
If hitting so high I would suspect you are...
I believe these are the fogs I used:

Been flawless. I leave the switch in the auto light position. Works as it should.
I have bambi mode enabled and when I engage the brights it is like the sun is out.
The lows alone are SO much brighter than stock halogens. Installed and no adjustment has been needed as the beam pattern was...
I have these bulbs and they worked great. Super bright.
Replaced low, high and the dogs with Alla bulbs. I posted a pic in another thread.

Checked over on the F150 forums and you can come across a few threads on various forums with the same theme.

Yeah that is the strange thing. I wonder if there is a service notice for a reprogram.
I wouldn't expect such though since these come out of the same plant and some 2018s have the issue, some don't. Same for 2019...

Then they did something wrong in the design. Vehicle is fully stopped when I am moving the knob to drive. Sounds like the delay is there regardless of vehicle stopped, etc...
This lines up with how mine reacts. Turn the knob, take foot off of brake and press the accelerator and nothing. Press...
I am starting to wonder if it is the throttle response that isn't kicking in sometimes. I will have to pay attention to if the rpms rev or not next time.

The expectation is put truck in gear take foot of brake press gas and go....so I don't think anyone said anything about instantaneous.
For those having the issue it is the above scenario and you press the gas and the truck is simply still not in gear. We aren't talking about bank robbery I need...
I had this problem when I leave anything in the truck that can give off a smell. I mean anything...
I changed the filter and sprayed ozium like mad with recirculate on and no more smell.
Above plus leave NOTHING in this truck overnight.

I think this might be a 2018 thing then. I have a 2018 and shift into reverse there is a big delay before it engages. BlWay more than should be the case.

Yeah no issue with those "highway" gears on the 4th gen. for that boat.
To the comment regarding mo better....
Hey I have a nail and I need to drive it into this board. Should I use a hammer or a sledgehammer? Oh the sledgehammer cause it is mo better.....
The higher gear ratio is not needed...
