    Ford Pass blue screen

On Android phones, press and hold the button for the app. A menu will pop up with four choices: Select, Remove, Uninstall, and an unlabeled choice with a lower case "i" in a circle. Click on that unlabeled choice. That will take you to an information page for the app. At the bottom of that page...

2024 Limited Max Stealth edition brakes

Hmmm...There was a very similar question posted in one of the Expedition groups on Facebook yesterday. Rotors and calipers are the same across all Expeditions. The Stealth Performance Package gets the same calipers as other Expeditions, just painted red.

    Who’s getting a ‘25?

Go back to post #57 in this thread. Platinum Ultimate wheels are not available yet.

    Is it totaled?

Glad everyone is OK. I'm not a body shop manager or insurance appraiser. What I see in your photos is the B pillar and probably the rocker box (below the doors) are bent. The B pillar and rocker box can be cut out and replaced. The roof and floor may be buckled, but they can be pulled out. The...

    Who’s getting a ‘25?

A 500-mile search around Indianapolis (ZIP Code 46201) on Ford's Search Inventory tool shows the following 2025s at dealers: Tremor in Star White at Tom Wood Ford in Indianapolis https://www.tomwoodford.com/new-inventory/1FMJU1RG6SEA10287.htm?fmccmp=t1-si-t3-vdp Platinum Max in Star White at...

    Who’s getting a ‘25?

Your dealer probably does not have direct knowledge of what's going on at the factory. If yours was "pulled 3/11 for quality control", it's probably still sitting on a parking lot at the factory waiting for someone to check something or waiting for parts that haven't shown up yet.

    2025 Expedition details

Not quite $100,000! https://www.ford.com/inventory/details/expedition/vin/1FMJK1MG7SEA11767/02185/43125?intcmp=siResults-cta-siVdp&searchDepth=3%3A6%3Aexact Apparently built this month.

Problem opening rear hatch with handle button

The adjustable opening height is handy when your Expedition is parked in a garage and opening the hatch to full height would result in banging into the garage door.

    How hot is too hot?

When I worked for a manufacturer of truck transmissions, we routinely tested valves, seals, and clutches in Dexron II that was heated to 300 deg F. I don't consider 215 deg F to be "hot" for lubricating oil. In my opinion, lube oil needs to be raised above the boiling point of water (212 deg F)...

Phone as a Key (Full Use) - Hardware/ Firmware

From the 2025 Expedition Order Guide: Tremor includes Phone as a Key as standard equipment. Platinum includes Phone as a Key with Platinum Ultimate Package or Stealth Performance Package. King Ranch make no mention of Phone as a Key which, frankly, seems odd since the King Ranch builds on...

    Who’s getting a ‘25?

Lots of wheels are apparently not available and that lack of availability is holding up new Expeditions. From the video referenced above, these wheels are not available:

Recommendations for 18" wheels on 23 Limited with 20's

I had this same problem with a 2023 Dodge Durango R/T. That dashboard had analog gauges with moving needles for tachometer, fuel level, and coolant temperature, but an all-electronic LCD for speedometer and other functions. In the display that showed an analog representation of a speedometer...

New to the community few questions

Replace the spark plugs. Ford says they are good for 100k miles. The experience of many says it's more like 60-75k.

    Spark plug recommendations

Because they fail before Ford's recommended mileage. I have personally experienced spark plug failure in a 2015 Expedition with 3.5 Ecoboost V6. Vehicle had about 70,000 miles on it. I tried to pass someone on a two-lane road that was slightly uphill. At full throttle, the engine began running...

    2025 Expedition details

11900 Westport Road is the rail loading yard at Kentucky Truck Plant. Note that it's marked unshippable. I really doubt that dealers will have 2025s before April.

2023 Expedition Stealth snap popping sound 2nd row passenger floor

When was your Expedition built? When was the loaner built? You can find the build month/year on the sticker on the door jamb that has the VIN.

    Who’s getting a ‘25?

I'll remind you all that when Ford started building the 2020 Explorer, all of the production from Chicago Assembly was loaded onto trucks and shipped to the Detroit area where the vehicles sat in parking lots as Ford addressed various issues with the new models. I'm not saying that's what's...

How To: Ford Performance Air-Oil Separator

The thing that has bothered me about these catch cans in the past is the flimsy way they are mounted. I did component fatigue testing for a transmission manufacturer in a previous life, so I think I understand how cyclic loads can cause metal to fatigue. I see some of these cans on brackets...

Had to buy it! Part 2

I made that suggestion, too. I think the downloaded PDF has more information than the manual built into the 15.5" LCD.

'24 SPP has ELSD or not? can't tell from sticker language?

Here's an example of a sticker with eLSD listed. Clearly shows "ControlTrac with 3.73 ELSD".

Had to buy it! Part 2

I downloaded the PDF from Ford's site and uploaded it to my Google drive. As long as I have Internet access, I can look at the manual. Heck, I might even download it to my phone though reading it there would be a PITA.
