    Also I remember the transmission was starting to act up, like it wouldn't go into gear sometimes when putting it in R and then it would be quite abrupt, also one time D I hit the gas and nothing for 1/2 second and it kicked in hard, the rear wheels even chirped on dry pavement.

    wow that is messed up, never had a dealer do that - online booking appts but my local Ford also let me slip into line without problems.

    I got it new and first owner, oil changes every 5k on full syn from the dealer, but I guess I was unlucky when my engine was built. But it does make me wonder when I got my cam phasers replaced could it have been possible the tech messed up the install?

    He said when the tech was getting into the engine the bolts wasn't as tight as usual, take that for whatever it means.

    The service manager showed me this today, destroyed rockers etc., will need a new engine

    I am just amazed how many problems can creep up all of the sudden, i was only about 30 miles from home after leaving a sales appt at a hospital for another appt, obviously, i had to cancel all of those and personally, it cost me financially

    That was the previous rain, good thing it wasn’t last week when it was -7F for the high, today it was almost 60F

    The past 6 months it's been in and out of the Ford dealer for a host of mechanical and electrical issues from bad USB, replacement of cam phasers, wastegate rattle noise, faulty low pressure oil warning still a problem after replacing harnesses, PCMs etc...my dealer has been going back and...

    So I get the warning repeatedly now and the check engine light is on, it did get the cam phaser recall done last month. My Ford service was able to let me bring it in now, currently waiting on diagnosis and they’re looking into my battery issue too.

    No physical signs of any kind of an oil leak underneath, the oil cap and dipstick is on. Restarted the engine and it seemed okay again, just strange.

    wow very timely thread, i had the same issue with the doors and was checking the settings, the same goes for the radio not staying on, i have a 2019 and it first happened last week.

    thanks - Carmax was $42k- 48k iirc i am surprised that my well cared for and less than 28k miles was not more, originally the MSRP was $76k

    Updated cam phasers - hope these really fix this problem!

    my baby is going into surgery this Tuesday after waiting 3 months for parts, it's crazy. said it'll take 2 day and i will have to pay for a rental and Ford will reimburse me :confused:
