    Well, once again the rearend moan between 45mph and 70mph has returned. Dealer has committed to replacing the rear once again. It sounds like the pinion bearing is pematurally being worn out. Anyone know if the Explorer's are having the same problems with the 3:73 rearend?

    Had to get my ride recognized. Just bought Motto 20 x 8.5 rims and shoed her with Goodyear 305 50R 20's GT II tires. What a ride difference from the old Connty's... What do you think?:cheers:

    Whine sound at 45MPH

    Anybody out there that has had the rearend problems? What did it sound like? I have a whining sound coming from the drive train that concerns me. It gets bad at 45MPH and goes higher in pitch as you increase in speed. But it only does it when I step on the gas. If I let off and coast it...

    Apparently enough of us are complaining about the brake dust problem that Ford is issuing a TSB to correct the problem. The only drawback is that the new pads will not be available until the last quarter. KEEP COMPLAINING and they will replace them under the TSB as soon as they become...
