    How to remove Stereo head unit?

    go to any stereo store and get the Ford stereo romover kit. It includes two pieces of metal that go in the four holes of the stereo. Then it should just slide out.

    Wow, Ive never heard of that. I have a 5.4 with 145000 miles, its still running strong. I would take the truck to a couple different mechanics to get their advice on it. I dont see how they cant retap it. Hope you get it figured out. Dustin

    what do you do

    if you turn your key forward 5x, that resets the computer. Just turn it forward so the guages come on 5x, then the doors will lock and unlock and the light should go off.

    engine wet - misfiring

    I cleaned my 97 exp with a power washer before the summer. It started mis firing right after I did that. I had to replace the Spark plug coils. They said that if water sits on top of one then it will cause the coil to short out. When they replace the coil make sure they replace the boots on them...

    Actually i upgraded my alternator to a 180 amp and got a larger battery. Then i hooked up a two farad cap just for the system. So far i havent had any eletrical problems.

    I would like to run a new exhaust on my 97 exp. I have a glass pack on it now but id like to do more. I would like to get rid of the four cats and run a new h-pipe. Then i would like to put dual pipes straight out the back. Has anyone takin off the cats on these? Any suggestions?
