+1 for blend door... Very common problem
Back when I had my expy had this problem... I removed glove box and cut into the "box" that holds the blend door and I just taped the blend door to either hot or cold depending on season... Then sealed the door by using the heat tape that's used for...
dealership is sending it somewhere.... I tried selling it for 7500 and got 6000 for trade on it... and that was actually taken off the "price" not just shown... good friend hooked me up and he also sold my boat too.. the same weekend... good to know people with 25yr car dealer experience and big...
and yes I can fit my layout blind, 48 goose shell decoys, 36 silhouette decoys, gun and calls into it... but waiting to find a set of cross bars and need a roof basket.... and then after warranty its gonna be lifted...lol seen some sick PATs done up on a jeep forum... shhhh can I say that...
+1 for the new diesel jeep... wanted one but got a great deal on the PAT.... but as fun as the expy was really just wasn't practical and it sat more than I drove it and being here in upstate NY the expy was rotting in my yard... just felt like soon was gonna have some major problems with it...
but I do still have my 3rd row seat and my edge CS.... forgot about seat and didnt wanna give them the edge or my stereo system.... so gonna sell them and get some toys for the PAT
yeah I always said I wold never get rid of my expy... but had to make a tough choice well a couple.... also sold my boat.... but my little patriot is awesome.... 2.4L 6 speed CVT.... and rides nice and still have 4wd... and yes they do make a lift kit for it.... just need to convince wife....lol
what to do when your exhaust manifolds start to leak, exhaust rots, and then your blend door goes.....
trade it in for a 2012 Jeep Patriot
was fun building a expy but now time to start on something new and double my MPGs....lol:driver:
thats gonna have to be something custom... never seen it done... but your on the right track with F150 on the front then just have to get matching lift springs/spacer for the rear... but wont be the ride that your looking for as in a long travel
as my sig says... I have a fabtech 6" + 3" PA body lift +2 " keys and a spacer in the rear... and the 37s fit perfect on 16x10 rims... also my tires are 13.5 wide... but you could go alternate route...
I have a connection at a body shop and it was still 2500-3000... and thats if I helped... so probably closer to 5 anywhere you would get a "real" paint job
sounds like a issue I had a while back.... I went with globalautomotive on ebay and got 8 new COPs and autolite double platnium plugs and hasn't had an issue since
and if they are close in size you'll only be off a little on speedo...ect... I had 37s under mine and didn't change anything until I got my edge programmer and was able to adjust it myself....
possibly with a narrow 8" wide rim and not very agressive tread... Thermo has 37s with a 4" suspension lift and many mods... I could fit a 40 with my current setup and some minor adjustments but right now 37s dont rub at all
