I'd check the dealer cost of marrying a new cluster to the pcm first. They may want to rape you. Pull-A-Part wants $32 for a cluster, if someone has damaged one there I'd be inclined to take it apart and see how they designed the lighting, or buy 2 of them and play with one at home.- stamp11127

That means they most likely used led's. Options: 1. Send cluster out for testing/repair - if it is a problem with the cluster and it can be repaired it avoids the dealer cost of a new cluster and/or marrying it to the pcm. 2. If you have a bright flashlight shine it in one of the sockets to see what will light up. That way we will know if those are used to illuminate the cluster or indicator lights.- stamp11127

Starting at "off" it is 9 clicks clockwise - put the leads together and it should tone. The meter provides power when test for continuity. That is the reason you disconnect power in the circuit and disconnect the plug at the cluster. Plus at higher voltages the meter would explode on you...- stamp11127

Grounds - disconnect the plug from the cluster, meter to continuity setting, one lead to ground wire in the plug the other to the ground point at the other end of the wire. Lighting would need to use the jumper as before to power the circuit. You probably have a bad splice.- stamp11127

Can't go by looks - can't see breaks inside the insulation. With the park/headlights on are the radio lights on also and will the dimmer switch work on them? Have you checked the grounds? They are usually located behind the driver and passenger kick panels. Since your air bag light is on that means at least one of the grounds is good. Another thing to check are the bulbs in the cluster - are they there, good etc?- stamp11127

I looked at the 2003 Navi diagrams and 17-4 is the same as the 2004. The program lists all the diagrams that have s224 on them but not the location. So that means you have to follow the wire until you find it. Or you could use a jumper wire to put power on pin 2 - connector c2065b with the main...- stamp11127

Diagram 71-4 see splice between main light switch and dimmer switch at bottom of page, looks like s124. There will be a diagram locating each splice by number. Check the splice for power with key in run position.- stamp11127

The black diamond triangles usually contain letters. What letters are in the triangles on 71-5? Check fuse for main light switch - can't make out the fuse number. When you turn the main light switch on do any of the leds in the switch also come on? The diagram shows there are 4 of them. On diagram 71-4, right side of the Main Light Switch, circuit 19 - pin 1 links to another diagram. I can't make out which diagram and what letter is used for the link.- stamp11127

They are listed in the 71 series but they are bitmapped pretty bad - type isn't clear. There is a ground location diagram that will help you located where they are on the Navi.- stamp11127
