Front brakes were making a strange vibration/humming sound when coming to a stop and the driver’s side front brake was dragging/not completely releasing. "did you pull the COP wiring off before pulling the COP?" Yes, its a two hand stepladder move, and I'm not a little guy. When my truck talks to me at 91000 miles I listen to what it's saying, so a new GatorBack Serpentine Belt, idler pulleys and tensioner pulley is what it was asking for. And for the heck of it I applied RainX all the way around.- FireRed5.4

What did you do to the expy today
87,500 miles, time for some fresh lube & fluid! Replaced the Rear Pinion Seal, front end has a leak but not a drip. Drained and replaced grease in the Front and Rear Differentials, Transfer Case and new Dot 3 bleed through all Break Lines, drained and refilled power steering. And a quick wash!!!- FireRed5.4

smaller lift
I also did the 3.5/2.5 spacer lift, it's the same process as the 1" - 2", I had a mechanic install my kit in his home garage $200, don't forget the four wheel alignment $100. The ride actually feels better/rolls smother with some of the weight shifted to the rear. Have not changed tires yet.- FireRed5.4

Is there a Differential vent tube or port... 2004 expedition independent rear suspension 9.75-inch axle? The Pinion Seal has developed a leak and I would like to eliminate that being clogged as a cause.- FireRed5.4

Changed the #3 COP... Was having an intermittent engine miss and loss of power after overnight rain (AGAIN) hooked up the ODB and #3 was the culprit. When I pulled it there was moisture around the top of the boot, I must be parking on just the right angle for the rain water to drip in the plug...- FireRed5.4

Low Tire Pressure Sensor '04 EB
Try a nitrogen fill in your tires, it is more stable than compressed air. I ran 35lbs all summer then it cooled off recently, my light was illuminated on the cold mornings, loaded them with 37lbs of nitrogen and no more light, I think you will see the difference.- FireRed5.4
