Andy you will need the model with the blank transponder key. They go for $45. The give instructions on how to program but state that you need 2 working keys. Otherwise you need to have Ford dealer do the programming. It is about $75.00 here for the programming. So figure $120.00. The $20...- eric_in_tx

That is kinda where I was confused. With the seperate bulbs didn't think Bi-xenon was needed. Want the 6000K 35W as I don't want to retrofit a projector in to run the 55W bulbs. 6000K 35W is supposed to be the equivalent of 5000K 55W. Anybody done this? Do I NEED to have Bi-Xenon? I have a 2006 Expy KR. I know that there is a bulb for low beam and one for high beam. Don't use high beam very often so thinking a decent Sylvania bulb in there and then just doing the HID for low beam and then for driving/fog lights. Anybody...- eric_in_tx

Rough start/idle low. Problems???
Runs great once you get going. And it isn't even cold here (it never gets cold in south texas). I just got it so really have no idea on fuel filter. I was going to do the easy (ie inexpensive) stuff first. Replace fuel and air filter just to be safe and see how it goes.- eric_in_tx

Rough start/idle low. Problems???
Ok, so went to start the Expedition up and it did not start. Turned over, sounded starved for gas then died. Did that twice. Third time it started and runs fine once it is started. The idle however is around 500 rpm, in gear with the engine warmed up. This to me seems low. I was thinking...- eric_in_tx

New baby
Yeah once I got it on well my wife loved it. She owned horses all of her life as a kid. Said it reminded her of the tack room. I wanted to see if this made her willing to "horse" around in the back but no dice. I know, bad joke, but hard to resist that one.- eric_in_tx

Ok, so I am considering improving the sound proofing of the Expy especially in the cargo/3rd row seat area. Considering removing the interior panels and using a little expanding foam insulation. I was actually looking at 2. One was an '05 Limited and the KR. The limited had 10,000 less miles and was 2WD. Thanks for the response. I am 99% sure that there is not a place for that on the adapter wiring. Thinking I am going to have to splice the original sub wire and fit it into the adapter myself to power it up. Crazy thing is the system sounds pretty nice as is.
