    Ford Key and Keyfob

Andy let me know if those work and I will use the link to get 2 of those as well. I think I would actually prefer that over the switchblade style key anyways.

    Ford Key and Keyfob

Andy you will need the model with the blank transponder key. They go for $45. The give instructions on how to program but state that you need 2 working keys. Otherwise you need to have Ford dealer do the programming. It is about $75.00 here for the programming. So figure $120.00. The $20...

Ok, going to order these for the Expy from the website provided. Need low beam and deiving swap. What are the bulb sizes? Do I need error code eliminators? Lots of boxes to fill in on the order form. Need a cheat sheet lol.

    35W 6000K HID Upgrade

Yeah I am trying to prevent have the glowing orb that drives down the road. I want distance and clarity. Further research says the 6000K will probably be best for what I want. I am not big on the blue look in my headlights. So it seems like 6000K in the heads/fogs. Then for the radio...

    35W 6000K HID Upgrade

Thanks. I will be checking out the site. I am going on vacation Friday but returning a week ahead of the wife and kids. Have some "free daddy time!" Going to wire up the sub woofer to the aftermarket head unit, probably upgrade the door speakers, insulate the back area (I hope) and try and...

    35W 6000K HID Upgrade

That is kinda where I was confused. With the seperate bulbs didn't think Bi-xenon was needed. Want the 6000K 35W as I don't want to retrofit a projector in to run the 55W bulbs. 6000K 35W is supposed to be the equivalent of 5000K 55W. I was going to run Sylvania bulbs in the high beam...

    35W 6000K HID Upgrade

If you go bi-xenon what happens to the high beam lights? Isn't bi-xenon one bulb with a shroud?

    35W 6000K HID Upgrade

Anybody done this? Do I NEED to have Bi-Xenon? I have a 2006 Expy KR. I know that there is a bulb for low beam and one for high beam. Don't use high beam very often so thinking a decent Sylvania bulb in there and then just doing the HID for low beam and then for driving/fog lights. Anybody...

    Rough start/idle low. Problems???

Runs great once you get going. And it isn't even cold here (it never gets cold in south texas). I just got it so really have no idea on fuel filter. I was going to do the easy (ie inexpensive) stuff first. Replace fuel and air filter just to be safe and see how it goes.

    Rough start/idle low. Problems???

Ok, so went to start the Expedition up and it did not start. Turned over, sounded starved for gas then died. Did that twice. Third time it started and runs fine once it is started. The idle however is around 500 rpm, in gear with the engine warmed up. This to me seems low. I was thinking...

    New baby

Yeah once I got it on well my wife loved it. She owned horses all of her life as a kid. Said it reminded her of the tack room. I wanted to see if this made her willing to "horse" around in the back but no dice. I know, bad joke, but hard to resist that one.

    Sound proofing/insulation

Ok, so I am considering improving the sound proofing of the Expy especially in the cargo/3rd row seat area. Considering removing the interior panels and using a little expanding foam insulation. Possibly doing the same around the speaker area of the doors and then into the pillars. This...

    New baby

I was actually looking at 2. One was an '05 Limited and the KR. The limited had 10,000 less miles and was 2WD. The KR needed some work right off the bat but the dealership covered everything at no cost to me. Had to wait for a week to have the OEM KR floor mats shipped from Michigan. It is...

    Question regarding factory Sub

Thanks for the response. I am 99% sure that there is not a place for that on the adapter wiring. Thinking I am going to have to splice the original sub wire and fit it into the adapter myself to power it up. Crazy thing is the system sounds pretty nice as is. But you can def. tell the bass...

    Question regarding factory Sub

I have a new to me 2006 Expy King Ranch. The factory head unit was replaced with a JVC double din unit. Noticed when I went to the area where sub is located that no sound is coming out of it. The area is present with the hole cut and the color keyed speaker cover in place. Is there a way to...

    New baby

Just purchased a 2006 Expedition KR 4WD. Must say I already love it. Getting roughly 17.3mpg mostly highway driving with cruise set at 75mph. Vehicle was a 1 owner and any and everything I could find even remotely wrong with it was fixed by the dealer before I took deliver. Now all of that...
