    Heater Control Valve

    Hey guys, my truck got diagnosed as needing the Heater Control Valve replaced, and the shop quoted it to me as being about $150. This seems really high as I can find the part on Rock Auto for about $20. Anybody here run into this, and does that sound about right?

    Never heard of this problem before . . .

    Anybody ever hear of an issue where changing out the battery caused the power door locks and remote to stop working? That is, it doesn't work from the button on the door OR the remote. Thoughts? This is on a 2001 EB, 5.4L
