most likely buy a multimeter and check the the power(eventually, it's not like these windows are necessary to operation of the vehicle, so not high priority), make sure it's in range of 12-14 volts, if it is, then likely buy a new motor- logoster

no, like i said, we heard a slight humming noise on first attempt but it stopped almost as soon as it started so i'm therefore assuming that it is indeed the motor that's dead- logoster

Let me understand this You blew the fuse the moment you plugged it in. because the BATTERY was still plugged in the FIRST time the second one it installed just fine as we did it at home where all our tools are, so we were able to disconnect the battery and no, no moon-roof- logoster

right, so replaced the fuse (ended up buying 2 as my dad tried to install it in the parking lot of the auto parts store, where we can't really unplug the battery, so it popped the moment it was installed) still nothing, although when we first went to test it, we did hear a slight hum for a few...- logoster

right, fuse 29 was most certainly broken, and whoever previously owned this expedition was also an idiot as well it seems, as there was wire bridging the connection between the metal prongs (which of course most certainly did not work, otherwise this thread wouldn't exist) i am curious as to...- logoster

Hi, so my family has a 1998 Ford expedition Eddie Bauer, and it has the powered rear quarter vent windows, however when we click the switch, nothing happens whatsoever. Any suggestions? Also sorry if this isn't aloud, but I'd like to add something else as well: our heater doesn't, well, heat...- logoster

yes, the control on the drivers side rear passenger door work fine, it's only the master control that doesn't want to work- logoster

it is programmed to auto-lock at 5MPH, i know that for sure, although looking in the owners manual it seems that it's because of the door ajar light on the dash being on, guess it's time to go wd40 the latches so now the only problem is the master window controls not working with some windows- logoster

Hello everyone, my family's main vehicle (in signature) has a few problems (which are more just annoying problems then anything else) and was wondering if you guys might have some idea on how to fix them first problem is that the vehicles auto-lock at 5MPH doesn't seem to be activating...- logoster
