    My step was +90% closed and the wedge was frozen in place, at first. I hit the bolt head a few times with a hammer and it did not move until it dropped out by itself.     I forget if Ford had it but when changing the Battery on my '99ML and I think '06SRX. You had to run the window down with the switch then hold the up switch past up or a few seconds after the window was full up. The module then knew it reached it's limit. Only takes a minute to try

    The antenna plugs into the modual. If I remember correctly it was the only thing that plug in ? so I would assume it needs to be there. The range is 50- 75' ? try it sitting inside the truck. If it works but not further away you know you need the antenna, if it doesn't work you are still 50/50...

    What is the purpose of the flip-up tailgate window?

    Mine is a 2010, has defrost, and the struts hold it open while driving back from HD. I would assume the 4th gen is the same. Ford cant legally say leave it open

    Possibly debris squished between back of rotor and hub face ? It would stay there everytime unless wire brushed. I have same truck with 150K. I don't have that problem but did have one bad upper control arm (you replaced) and one inner tie rod.

    Dealer says rack/pinion leaking at both ends....

    Note your oil filter and catch tray is just above your "leak" 1) it looks old 2) someone may have been sloppy when changing the filter. Spray down with brake clean and keep an eye on it.

    Grease type used with IWE actuator & needle bearing.

    Info, Actuator is pregreased with what looks like vaseline. I'm sure it is not but, just an observation. The Hub gears and needle bearing were a blue grease, still haven't gotten the specs on that.

    Hello, I am replacing the 4wd hub actuators and don't like mixing grease types. I can only find to use High temp disc brake grease. I do have some from the 1990's lol Any idea what is now used in the needle bearings & hub ? IE standard, synthetic red or blue etc Thanks
