They were Motorcraft plugs purchased from AutoZone... I drive like a grandma trying to maximize fuel mileage and never speed. My wife actually makes fun of me for it.- Dlsgap

My fear is that the piston is loose on the connecting rod and it hit the plug- Dlsgap

No sign of it in the cylinder. So it likely is in the cat like you said. The tip actually looks like it may have been hit or scraped... Checking the old one in a bit to see if it's the same- Dlsgap

2007 Expy Engine has the hiccups in park, in gear and while driving.
My 08 started doing the same thing. Would idle extremely rough, and would hesitate occasionally but no codes and seemed to be running okay most of the time. Had plugs and coilpacks changed in my 08 EL about 20k ago... A couple weeks ago she started running really rough. Police Expo Owners
What if I have a gen3 EL Limited, and I work for a department that has a gen3 in our fleet? Btw, the two are night and day different. The one at work rides like crap and my LT says it gets stuck everywhere. Of course it's just 2wd... My personal Expy EL is 4wd and rides like a dream.- Dlsgap
