    2017 - Bilstein 5100 all 4 wheels - Lessons learned

I put 5100 on mine and I found compressing the springs was easier when I used an impact wrench to compress the springs. The install of both rears was about 5 hours. I have not changed the fronts yet since they have not gone bad. I had three sets in the rear shocks blowout but the 5100 have...

    Overheating ecoboost

The same thing happened to me going from Denver to Breckenridge, however, I had made that climb many times before without issues. I came across a post on a different forum and they said a dirty air filter or non OEM filter can cause the over heat under load and quickly recover after boost...

    2015 Ecoboost over heating solved

My issue started around 80K miles, but since there were no leaks I did not think it was the water pump so I did the usual like change the thermostat. If I lived someplace hot like my home town near Phoenix, AZ I think I would have found it faster.

    2015 Ecoboost over heating solved

Over the last two years my 2015 EL XLT 4WD has been randomly over heating mostly when towing up a steep mountain. I changed the thermostat and no change so I decided to change the water pump and discovered it had lost all but one of its impeller blades, I replaced it with an metal water pump...

3rd shock blown out on 2018 XLT

I did not realize so many people had this problem with the factory shocks, I changed my 2015 Epy for the second time last summer with bilsteins 5100, so far the ride quality is good and no leaking. hopefully when I tow this summer I don't have any more blown shocks.

    New camper - Sag issue

I have the same setup, a 2015 EL, 2017 2920BH with a Husky Center line TS WDH. Because we are close on weight I purchased a tongue scale with very little in the front storage compartment, battery and Propane the TW is 750 to 800 plus pounds. I have the WDH set so there is one and a half inches...

That is why I decided on a TT with a GVWR of 7200. As it turns I am close on my payload with this configuration, not sure how anyone could actually tow 9200 and stay under their payload limit.

Slipping rear end (NOT THE WRONG FORUM)

I had the same problem lost a gallon if milk to the driveway along with more expensive items so I installed a cargo net I bought off of Amazon. No issues since.

High winds are always a legitimate concern. Last year we had 80 to 100 mph cross winds on the I25 between Colorado Springs and Denver and before restrictions were imposed 11 semi truck s were blown over on there side. If there are high winds it is best to stay put and wait it out. I have...

We have really liked the 2920bh gives all of my kids their own bed and it is the lightest quad bunk I could find. The one dislike is it came with 14 inch c rated ties so I quickly upgraded to 15 inch D rated wheels and tires. I use a Husky Centerline TS WDH and it works great at preventing...

    Travel Trailers

I used the same ones as the other two until my rubber straps broke, they work ok but I wanted to try something different so I purchased the dometic grand aero 3 that clamp on and I like them a little better. I do wish there were some custom CIPA that fit Expedition...

    Travel Trailers

A little late to this post, love the big rigs but don't want a second mortgage so I have a 32ft ultralight 5300 dry and GVWR of 7200. My 2015 EL tows it like a champ. I have never experienced any sway as I travel throughout Colorado. Not the best photo but it serves its purpose.
