    I found these pics in another thread showing the center of the bench removed. These would be easily filled or covered with mats if you are going from bench to captains. I just wonder if these indents and bolt holes are present, but filled in/covered up in the captains chair models.

    So you've done this, or did you start out with the bench and remove the center seat? I've seen pics of the center seat removal, and it looks like the floor goes down where the legs mount. I wonder if the floor pan is flat in the captain chair version, or filled with a spacer under the carpet...

    Just to be clear... I don't have to select nav (even tho I have it, assuming its up to date) each time I do an update, and can just update the Sync version? That would definitely be quicker.

    That is definitely a possibility! Hard to imagine them coming loose with 6k on the clock but anything is possible haha. Yeah I think that's gonna be my next step. I tried getting the system to recognize the update USB drive and nothing happened unfortunately

    Appreciate the comments! I've tried pretty much every cable I own haha. I think I'll give upgrading to 3.4 a try and go from there. If it doesn't fix the issue, have any of you ran into any problems with Ford fixing the head units, etc that have been upgraded to 3.4 from outside sources?
