Odd noise origin???
I just started hearing a kind of whirring or whining sound coming from my 2007 5.4L. It seems to be coming from the top side of the engine more towards the driver's side. Any of you big brains out there have an idea what this might be. Thanks- Texas Dave

No start...3 odd symptoms.
I was out running some errands in my '07 Expedition 5.4L. The vehicle had been running fine. I turned the key to start the engine and while the engine cranked normally the engine would not fire or start. Here is the really odd part of this episode...the key would remain stuck in the start...- Texas Dave

COP (coil) mystery?
In the past year I have had to replace the coil on cylinder 7 of my 5.4L 2007 Expedition three times. It begins with a stumble when accelerating which sets off a misfire on cylinder 7 code. I replace the coil and the engine runs great for a few months. I have also replaced the wiring connector...- Texas Dave
