Solved. There was no actual problem with the aftermarket cat. I went to a muffler shop and they found the flange seal was leaking, so they sealed it, all the noise went away.- Gary Hayre

Junkyard cats are hard to come by. The original cat has a broken piece of honeycomb inside, you can see it moving through the O2 hole.- Gary Hayre

Everyone, Had a rattle coming from under engine. Used doctor scope to narrow the noise to driver side cat. Bought replaced cat from Rock Auto (Davico Brand)...economy one...The OEM cat is listed at 1400.00 compared with 250.00 from Rock Auto. Installed no problem, rattle gone.
