Alright, so I got the motorcraft IAC in today, and replaced it along with a new gasket. Started the engine up and let it run. I couldn't get it to reproduce the same engine stumble condition when coming back down to idle speed. So, I'm hoping that this may have done the trick, however, time will...- 91fox

I'm sorry you feel that way. However, if the engine is that delicate to not be able to handle a brief load when it's first started then it shouldn't ever have been sold to the public. I have a friend with a f150 Ecoboost, who had something similar happen to his truck. He would be able to drive it for miles on end without issue, however, when he really womped on it with the engine cold it seemed to go into limp mode... No problem, if you decide to take it somewhere to get repaired, here are the times to replace the compressor and the condenser. Don't let them take advantage. the original was discarded, i ending up putting an engine in this truck with 50k on it. I re-sealed the entire engine and put on a lot of new parts to try to thwart any potential issues. The truck was built in may of 03,that's why I'm questioning if I got the correct iac considering all the mfg make them look different and the casting apparently has no correlation to the year.- 91fox

I checked the throttle body, and it was pretty clean however I cleaned it further, the iac I can't remember the brand... However, when I look on rockauto I see a split in the year? I'm not sure if something in the solenoid was changed or what, however, I can't confirm or deny if I have the...- 91fox

alright, i'll take a look at the throttle body, the iac was already replaced recently, however, ill pop it back off and take a look at it, hopefully that will solve the idle stumbling.- 91fox

Okay, so I replaced the purge solenoid and have no codes pending at the moment, only memory codes (no service engine light yet). However, my long term fuel trims are still high, my short term trims are near zero. When I rev the engine up to 2k rpm and slowly let it back down, to idle it still...- 91fox

2003 Eddie Bauer gas smell from back

Here's the fuel pressure, I've been out here for roughly 5 minutes and it's holding at 49 lbs (engine off) engine on psi is the image. The valve is next, hoping that is the issue, however I'm not convinced. Booster holds 25 in lbs of mercury and the reservoir holds as well.- 91fox

Im getting it in the morning, it had to be ordered, I'm also going to buy a fuel pressure test kit tomorrow to check out the pressures. Finally I'm going to take of the throttle body and inspect it... Not really sure where else to turn, I dropped the spare tire today to make sure the canister...- 91fox

I thought fuel was an issue with this thing as well... A couple of months back I replaced the fuel pump with a delphi brand pump... I've changed a lot of parts on this thing and have yet been able to figure out what the actual cause is.. I guess I'm going to have to go buy a pressure tester and...- 91fox

They both seem to be switching, both sensors are practically new as I replaced the sensors last year and have used the truck extremely little (they were Bosch 15717 I believe) I only replaced the upstreams on both banks. I'll go back out and confirm they're switching.- 91fox
