I was replacing the front wheel bearings/brake pads and liners on my 5.4 2WD today and noticed what appears to be a leaking brake hose. My question is how do you remove the hose from the bracket? It appears to be permanently attached. Do you just cut the line and bend the holding bracket?
Ordered it and it installed fine. Pretty easy job. Only had to trim the front valence slightly to make room for the receiver. I mounted it higher than the instructions said to give me a little more ground clearance. Thanks everyone!

I’m wondering if it’s possible to mount a front hitch on a 2001 XLT 2WD? I’d like to be able to carry a few bikes up there when we’re towing our pop-up. If it can be done, should it be done? Would three bikes in front of the grill cause too much cooling restriction when towing?

Thanks. I guess I’ll keep digging. The only things my dad did to it was have a hitch/4 flat plug installed and the ford factory cd changer in the center console. I’ve pulled a couple dash panels off but still no dice. It must be tucked way up there.
