I had a brake controller installed and they had to hard wire it in because they couldn’t find the factory plug. Everything was great until the trip home from our last camping trip. Now, when I put the right blinker on the brake control pulses in time with the the blinker. I assume something is shorting out somewhere but I’m not sure where to start looking. It’s on the vehicle because it does it even when the trailer isn’t connected. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I’d start by removing the brake control to see if it changes anything. Then maybe re wire it.
