TPMS strategy when replacing 7-year-old tires.
The tire shop tells me that the TPMS in my 2004 Xpy cannot take battery replacement like those found in later years. So they are recommending replacing the TPMS along with the tires. 2004 Eddie Bauer radio dies when temperature goes below 60F.
Here in Central Florida when the temperature dips below 60F the radio dies including all displays such as the clock which stops. 5W-20 Ford recommended oil
My 2004 EB Expedition with 5.4L 2 valve @83K mi.has the recommendation from Ford of 5W-20. I've heard from a number of sources that for here in Florida it would be better to kick up the second number to 30 or 40. They say that 20 is not heavy enough. Fuse size and location for center console front top 12 volt outlet, ie cigar lighter.
A faulty phone charger just blew the fuse on my 12 volt outlet at the top front of the console, ie cigar lighter. The 12 volt outlet on the passenger side of the console still works. Oil change volume for a 2004 5.4L 2V?
I'm going to have my trusted mechanic perform a lube, and oil and filter change. I will be providing the oil and filter. Will the standard 5qt container of engine oil be enough or do I need to get an extra one qt to fill to the proper mark?- Elvisinflorida
