I have an AC problem in my dual-control 2014 EL XLT:
Driver's side AC keeps blowing cold air, mostly in the footwell but also a little on the front ducts.
I replaced the Blend Door Actuator behind the hi-fi unit. It wasn't the problem as the problem still persists.
What else could be the...
It's getting hot here in TX. My 2013 seemed to be not as cold as it should be. Intermittently, it would be super cold though. Found a couple things:
1) My 2013 Climate Control panel doesn't match what's in the 2013 manual. The 2013 manual kept talking about a MAX A/C setting. Mine does not have...
Hello,
for the life of me I cannot figure this out. Acquired a new truck, ac blows hot. Manifold gauges I rented at parts store show low and high side are both at zero psi. I ran a vacuum pump for about a half hour or so, then went to add r134a. The truck wont accept the charge. The point of...

I noticed that even with the fan going full throttle, the...

Just noticed our AC isn't blowing cold, so i purchased a can of AC pro to recharge the system (it's done it in other vehicles successfully). Anyways, according to the AC pro website the low pressure port is up by the Radiator, but I've found that the port on the AC pro can won't fit the supposed...
2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.7L
When the AC is set for auto or dash vents, when I press the gas peddle the AC comes out of the defrost vents. When I let up it goes to the dash vents like it is supposed to.
Any advice how to resolve this would be most welcome from here in Florida.
I really never thought about the oil needed for an AC system until I started looking at replacing the compressor in My Expedition. However, I'm currently replacing the condenser and the dryer / accumulator in my Ford Escape and bought refrigerant but wondered if I need to add oil to the system...

I ordered a gauge set and was getting ready to post some pressures when i thought I might take a look around first. i noticed some yellow dye around the valves and so I got out my black light.
It looks to me like the compressor seals have...
