I recently had a problem where my trans cooling line rusted through while I was driving. I noticed a slip while in drive and found no fluid on the dipstick. I accidentally added a quart of Dextron III and drove it home about 5 miles. I found the probem and replaced both trans cooling lines and drained the pan and torque converter of the remianing fluid and replaced with Mercron V. I now cannot get the transmission to go into any gear other than reverse. It sounds like the electronics are engaging the tranny but it only revs in D, 2 and 1. Any advice on how I should begin treating this problem would be appreciated. It has 209K and I ahve owned it since 40k.
