So I just tapped into the window delay circuit in my 99 ranger (PO had the radio cavity mostly gutted so was easy to work in).

Now I want to do the same in my Expy.

Is there a wire easy to get access to that I can tap to get a delayed radio until doors opened (or 20min batt saver kicks in)

It had the factory Mach radio, now has an aftermarket unit.

Thanks for suggestions

Bryan

also if you want you can obtain a copy of the;
Ford workshop manual on DVD. Can be obtained from seller "morpheousking" on e-bay. Cost about $10.00 Much better than Clymer, Haynes or Chilton and also includes wiring diagrams

Don't waste your money on a Clymer, Haynes or Chilton Manual.
It is well worth the $10.00 just make sure you get the DVD for your year as the seller has different DVD's for different years

I linked mine into the radio fuse...think it was fuse 32 or 31 for me and I just did it sunday night...so it plays when I turn the truck off and radio is already on 3 minute timer...then I open door if still playing it cuts off...

I did this to mine a few years ago. I routed power through another relay that is powered/triggered from the window switch relay so I didn't overload the circuit.
