I have an o1 Eddie that keeps popping the power window fuse (#14 under steering wheel). I have tried installing a fuse with the battery positive taken off but, when I reattach the lead it pops. Any help would be great. I just don't want to have to take it in and be something easy. Thank you for all of your help.

Fuse problem solved

:D Problem solved. I disconnected all of the fuses that were associated with the problem. I also disconnected each of the running board lights. I was in the car with the door closed and inserted a new 15amp fuse (#14). It didn't pop. I then inserted fuses 601, 12 and 15 (engine fuse box). Fuse number 14 still didn't pop and the interior lights came on when I opened the door. Next came each of the running board lights. I started with the passenger side first. The lights are connected in series so they didn't come on until they were both inserted. So, I thought it surely had to be a bulb on the driver side. It wasn't. I inserted both bulbs and then I opened my driver side door. The interior lights came on so I turned the car on and rolled the windows up and down to make sure everything worked. I hope this can help anybody with the same problem. It only cost me the $4.50 for new fuses.
