03 5.4 bogs down at 60 but drives fine issues?

03 5.4 bogs down at 60 but drives fine . I have a 03 ford drives fine normally but for some reason when i get to 60_70 bogs down dose not want to go losses power cost over 60 and give a Lil gas goes great ..not sure as to what the problem is had for 6 years never had issues now all sudden she dont wont to run norm 75 80 all day on the highway

I take it there are no check engine lights on the dash? Even if there are no engine lights, still hook up a diagnostic scanner if you can get your hands on one and see if there are any codes.

What about your fuel consumption? Has that dramatically increased recently?

Yes light is on but not steady 1 time before when it needed plugs and coil packs it was on but blinked......i try driving in highway and cut the o/d off it did not hesitate as bad but went up 70 fine so im not sure

Have the stored trouble code(s) retrieved - that will point you in the repair direction.

Some auto parts stores will retrieve the stored codes and provide you a print out at no charge.

No change in gas if cut od off it runs better ...???? Could it be a bad battery causing the issue

How old is the fuel filter ? Fuel Pump ? How many miles on it ?

I was going to suggest you change the fuel filter. I never noticed the decline in performance over the past few years until I got a CEL for insufficient fuel flow/pressure. I changed the filter and the truck woke up. It was a hoot to drive it after the filter change.
