I'm super excited about my new ride! I've owned fords before (mustang and ranger) but this is my first Expedition. I wasn't in any rush to buy so I took my time waiting for a deal that I couldn't pass up. Ended up getting an 03 Eddie Bauer fully loaded with only 37k miles. Apparently some rich old woman bought it, got every option, then barely drove it. Got it out the door of a Nissan dealership for 14k. Its $1000 over blue book, but I couldn't pass this car up. Dealer put brand new tires on, and new rotors as well as flushing trans fluid and other small services, spark plugs etc.

This forum has been extremely helpful. I actually found that the rear ticked and got them to fix it before closing the deal. Not sure if I would have caught that if I didn't know to look for it. Also you guys helped me locate my master code for the key pad lock, Ford was going to charge me $50 to do it. Only down side is it has a navigation system but no CD's. Think I'm going to upgrade to newer system though since the 03 stopped updating in 07 and I plan on having this truck for a good long time.

WOW, that is amazing that you found a 2003 with such low mileage. We just traded ours in with 147k miles for a new 2013 Limited 2 weeks ago! Enjoy it, we loved ours and it was very reliable and dependable. Just watch out for electrical gremlins after you pass 100k miles
