04 expedition question radio

OK guys got a 04 expe. The radio has a SAT button on the radio. When I push it, it says " no satellite service "

So what does this mean, do I have the sat kit installed and or just what is it, what does it do

Can someone explain it all

It was a dealer installed option for XM radio. If you hit the button and it says no module or no service, you don't have it.

It says no satellite service, does that mean it had the dealer option

I don't think I have ever seen Hamfisted be wrong, but I do know that even if you have the option installed you will need a subscription for it to work.

Was this for Sirius only
