05 Aux Trans Cooler

I'm in the process of finding and purchasing an 05 EB Expedition. I have a few questions. Pardon my newness but, I have searched the forum and have had no luck.

1. Is the EB equipped with the HD tow pkg as standard equipment?

2. If it has a 7 pin connector and an aux trans cooler is it safe to say that it has the HD tow pkg? Could the 7 pin connector be an aftermarket add-on?

3. What does the aux trans cooler look like? Is it easily identifiable from looking in the engine compartment or under the truck?

4. How do I identify a class IV hitch reciever? Is it indicated on the reciever?

5. Should there be a brake controller connection near the drivers seat if it has the HD tow pkg?

1. No clue.

2. If it has the connector and cooler it should have the package. The connector could be an aftermarket add on. So it's best to check the VIN as well.

3. It looks like a small radiator. You should be able to look through the grill and see it.

4. Mine says it on the bottom. But if the second gens are like the third gens then they all have the class IV receiver.

5. Mine has the plug for the trailer brake controller by the OBD II port, but mine didn't come with the HD tow package.

2. It should be. Look at the connector, it should have a Ford emblem stamped into the plastic cover if it's from ford.

3. Like Yeller said, a small radiator.

4. All second gens with the tow package hae a class IV. Not sure about ones without the tow package.
