Is the check engine light on? Do you have access to a scantool to read codes and look at fuel pressure and so on?
Fuel pump is not a common failure point on these. The FPDM, Fuel Pump Driver Module, is a very common failure point, usually it just dies and gives you a crank, no start, but check that first. It's mounted on a bracket behind the drivers side rear tire on the frame. Also make sure your fuel filter is good.
Other than that, before you start pulling the tank down to replace it you need to get a scantool and check fuel pressure. If fuel pressure is good, then it's not that. Throwing parts at it on a whim without proper diagnosis will waste your money and your time, unless you get lucky of course.
