New to group, I just picked up a 07EB as a project with 162k miles dirt dirt cheap. It starts and idles fine for a few minutes then start generating code for:
P0010 /P0020. cam position actuator circuits open bank 1&2
P0155, P0161, P0141, P0135. O2 heater circuit bank 1-2 up and downstream
P0443. evaporative emission system purge control valve circuit.
It has more valve train noise on passenger side, so I expect a worn rocker arm or more,
Based on mileage and unknown maintenance I picked it up with the intention to service timing set and rocker arms and lock out cam phasers, new spark, plugs coils etc. The question is, can bad cam phasers be the cause of all the random codes? Checking with a scanner when it starts rough idle the timing is barely affected. So, I'm stumped. I don't want to do a half job, I want to do it right. mechanical ability and correct tools I have or have easy access to.
Any help or guidance I will greatly appreciate.

I’d do the timing job and inspect the roller followers while doing that. I’d check the plugs and replace with genuine Motorcraft plugs if needed. You may also want to look at the (especially passenger side) exhaust manifold and gasket while you are there. The cast manifolds are prone to cracking in an area that’s very hard to see. I went with Gibson short headers and remflex gaskets on my ‘07. Check the phaser solenoids screens. They plug up with sludge and debris and can affect the phaser operation.

The O2 sensor issues can also cause rough running after the initial warm up phase is completed. The ECM goes into closed loop mode once warmed up and bad O2 readings will make it run like crap. The O2 sensors are ignored during warm up.

After debating for a bit, and some further investigation I ordered a ford timing set, steel adjusters and a new HV oil pump, a set of rockers and water pump. It's the same path I took with my 2004 Explorer 4.6 EB 9 years ago and still runs like a top. along the way I picked up a deal on some wheels to install later. Spent the day cleaning the engine compartment and shampooing carpets and doing a punch list of additional items needed to get this done by august for a maiden trip to see family. Thanks for advice, it reinforced what I was thinking.

I didn't have an owner's manual so I downloaded a pdf file, while looking through it I spotted fuse number 74 controlled ECM sensors, I figured what's there to lose, I went and looked, and it was missing. I replaced it and fired it up and checked my timing issues and it wasn't dropping timing into -5 to -10 degrees anymore as it was doing before and all 4 o2's are showing reading as they should and purge valve is working.
I let it run for a bit and warmup and codes never came back but it still had a misfire while driving, I then pulled coil connections and checked idle, and it dropped except for cyl number 3, I then checked codes, and I had codes for 7 of 8 showing same and 1 showing a different code and that being #3.
I already ordered the parts to change timing set and coils etc, the plan now is to replace rocker arms, since I can hear one or more tapping louder than others toward the rear on the passenger side, the coils and plugs and see where it goes from there.
Thank you for the inputs.

Check all the fuses and pins in junction box under hood. Also make sure no fuses missing.
you were correct, fuse 74 was missing. replaced it and no codes now, moving on to a misfire issue with #3 cylinder, suspect a bad coil/sparkplug. I will replace all coils and plugs as well as rocker arms since a couple are making a tapping noise and see where that leads me. Thanks...
