08 leveling kit lift with rear air ride help

My wife has an 08 Limited with rear air ride and wants to lift it. I have been reading post on leveling kits and am a bit confused on the rear. Does the air kit need to be removed and replaced with a new coil strut or will it be ok with a 2" spacer?

have to remove air ride and replace it if you want the lift, i think most kits specify that they are not for use with air ride.

Thanks for the info,What would happen if you add a spacer to existing rear bags?
