08 Limited cooled seats

I've had the exp for 4yrs now. about two years ago the cool/heated seats option stopped working so i took it to dealer and had it fixed. now the issue is when set on cool they do work but only the bottom of seat like where you actually sit on. the back rest will not cool on either the high or low setting. I can hear the blower speed change with each setting.

this happens on both driver and passenger seats. any idea where i can begin to trouble shoot this?

Since the fans are working that tells me that the air isn't getting to the seats. Over time, the perforations can become plugged with lint and other stuff. You can first look to see if the holes are open. If not, try a shop vac to see if you can clean them out. There is a foam duct that runs up the back of the seat. It is possible that it has collapsed. To inspect it would require removing the seat cover.

Were you able to find out what is causing the problem. I have the same issue.
