Has anyone dropped the headliner or done wiring from the roof down the pillars on an 08' Expedition XLT ? I was a professional installer for quite a number of years but I did audio back in the shaft mount days then when I did 2-way installs all we had were dash air bags.
I am planning on drilling several holes for roof mount antennas, 1 for Amateur Radio, 1 for my EVDO Internet card and possibly one for a GPS antenna. Normally I just drill the hole after making sure I have no crossmember in the way then fish the wire to the side and down the pillar. These air bags worry me a bit due to the wires I will be running and doing some blind fishing back there.
I also plan on mounting a 10" DVD player in the back for the kids which means more wires having to be routed in that immediate area.
