09 NAV/Function issue

Just bought an 09 Limited with the Navigation package.

The problem is that sometimes the "menu" button and the "i" button do not work. Other times, they work fine. I know it is not something with the buttons because when they work, they both work perfectly until I shut the truck off. After I restart the truck, they may or may not work.

Am I just doing something crazy here? Or do I just need to take it to the dealership?
