Just wanted to post and confirm that if you enable Navigation on a Non-Nav unit you can still get the turn by turn instructions in the instrument cluster via Android Auto. This was tested on a 2015 EL Limited, using a 2016 Escape Sync 3 non-Nav APIM, upgraded to Sync 3.4 using CyanLabs. With the make switched to Lincoln, I feel like I have brought my truck up to modern look, feel, and functionality.

Internal navigation does not work and reports a failure on the home screen, but since I use wireless AA i never see it because the display switches over to AA once the truck starts.

I activated it on my 2021 Explorer. I turned it on in Forscan and got the error on the screen. I downloaded the "NAV light" update from CyanLabs just in case my Sync3 did not have adequate memory for the full version. Restarted and boom, had NAV on my sync3 screen.
