I found a set of rims I like, and there is a $50 difference between 16in and 17in(per rim). $200 will almost buy 2 new tires.

The only reason I am rocking the phony beadlocks is that the least expensive black steel wheels hit my front calipers. These are the second least expensive ones that fit. Also, if you're planning on bigger tires, you'll want wider wheels. Big wide tires look funny on skinny stock width wheels.

I am running 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic II's with 285/75's on my 98. The rims fit perfect and clear everything. I did the torsion bar crank up front and a 3" spacer in rear. It sits level now and has gotten rid of the grocery-getter look.
