So first things first: this is my first Ford, and probably the nicest and most expensive car we've ever owned. Last friday, we traded in the odyssey for our Expedition MAX XLT. The comfort in it and how smooth it is on the road is amazing.

That being said, I have since ordered the ReadyLIFT for it, and am debating between 18s or 20s for the rig. I searched throughout the forum but haven't seen any side shots of 18s or 20s (seen a lot of 3/4 angle shots though). Does anyone have any side profile shots of their rig with 18s?

Thanks in advance

Your nice comfortable ride will be gone once you lift it and put it on big tires...... Just noticed that you liked the ride and are going the lift route, but whatever you like.....

Honestly, once we put the readylift on our 2019, it "felt" like it rode better in my opinion. Now throwing the raptor wheels/tires on roughened it back up. But my wife is in love with it, which is what I wanted.

We would've stayed with the stock 18s but got a heck of a deal on the raptors.

I'll second this. I had stock 275/55/20s in for a few hundred miles after I put the 3/2 on my 16 and the ride actually felt better. I couldn’t stand the small fires in there and went to 35/11.50/20s and it roughened it up also. Still great on the highway though cruising.

Thank you for the replies. I used to have a titan with a 6” lift and upgraded shocks. So I won’t be too concerned with a harsher ride as that one was really bad

But nonetheless I do appreciate your insight.

LOL...let me guess....the Rough Country lift? I too had a Titan with that lift, and it was the roughest ride...ever....

LOL no, it was the 6" RCD kit with Radflo external reservoir shocks and Eibach springs; rear were the full Deaver racepack. It was really rough hahaha

I don't want to start another thread, and i'm pretty sure I know the answer, but:

if you buy a new set of wheels and tires with TPMS installed (not the OEM ones), do you need to do a TPMS relearn? I want to say it a Yes, but maybe someone else can confirm?

TPMS will need to be retrained. The Ford system doesn't recognize 2 sets of sensors. I play this game twice a year when I switch between summer and winter tires since I have two sets of wheels with TPMS sensors. My local tire shop retrains the sensors for a $10 fee, so I avoid the dealer for this issue.
