Hi,

my vehicle was recently involved in a front end deer hit. It was put back together and now it seems the vehicle drifts and pullls mostly to the left. Alignment is ok and a recent Ford visit showed power steering checked ok on their machines. They blame it on lane assistance system. They put it on alert only and a low sensitivity setting. It is still doing it.

I think it might be rack and pinion issue because it seems that the vehicle doesn’t drove straight but only on angles where you are turning with speeds over 43mph. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
How do you turn this lane keep system off all together?

Check they put the tie rod end bolts back in. I forgot the passenger side when I lifted mine and basically describes what you are saying. Caused it to drift and steering was loose feeling.

Button on the top of the center stack turns the lane assist off. I think its the one next to the hazard button. When it's off the little lane screen on the bottom of the gauge cluster goes away. Menu just changes the alert level and correction level.
