hey yall
i just got a 99 eddie bauer expedition 4x4
im wanting to use it for hunting and lookin to run the biggest tire i can .
i know alot about the f150 but nothing about the expy
im just lookin for some general info about the levelin kits and tire sizes
im wanting to go with a 2857516

Fortunately, aside from the rear suspension setup, there's not all that many differences between the two.

Like the others have said... 285/75's should fit right in there..... You can always do a little bit of torsion bar cranking in the front just to gain a little more room. You can get a good 2 inches, and then to level it out, there are coil spacers for the rear that range from 1 to 3 inches. Cheap to find on Fleabay.

The rears look right, but really, you can just crank the stock torsion bars up 2 inches. Less stress on the cv joints and such, than if you go the aftermarket keys I think. Plus it's free.

i looked at it tonight and its an xlt not the EB edition dont think that matters much in this case
the stock wheels will be fine with the 2857516 correct ? im orderin tires monday and just want to make sure
thx again yall

now our tire warehouse only has 2 285's

will the 3057016 fit inplace of the 285's ?
