Hi,
I've got a problem that is backwards from the normal.
My HVAC works fine EXCEPT for defrost. It's stuck on panel. Defrost and panel both blow only from panel vents. The "floor" setting works fine (kills airflow to panel vents).
I'm assuming it has to be a physically stuck panel/defrost door, a bad vacuum motor, or a blown vacuum line between the control panel and vacuum motor.
Any thoughts? Anyone dealt with this problem?
I fixed every under-hood vacuum leak I could find. I don't hear any active leaks.
