Yes, you read correctly VHS. I have a 2001 Eddie Bauer with a factory installed VHS player. The problem I am having is that it will not turn on. I have the original manual and it's not very helpful when it comes to describing the fuses. If anyone can help me find the fuse to the system that's were I need to start. I would also like to step into the new decade by changing out the VHS for a DVD or Blu Ray player. If anybody has any suggestions on how to accomplish that I would be most thankful. Thank you in advance for all of your help.

LOL, VHS :D

Maybe try fuse 31 in the passenger compartment. Only one I see that seems to deal with the rear console area.

You'll have to access the VCP (video cassete player?) connector to do a couple of tests. Going to need a multimeter.

There's also apparently a 4A inline fuse somewhere in there, according to the wiring diagram. Not sure where, though. Also shows this getting it's power from the #8 fuse in the passenger compartment, though I'd guess your radio wouldn't work if this was blown. Doesn't hurt to check, though.
