First of all, hello guys and gals. Kinda needing some help.
I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find an answer to my question. So here it is, I currently have a 2001 Expedition XLT 4.6 2WD. And i am buying new shocks and replace my sagging springs and i want to know if the 97 through 02 Expedition 4x4 and 2x4 front springs are interchangeble, i know the Expedition 4x4 springs are longer because of the 4x4 part. I want to lift the truck 2-3 inches without buying a high dollar lift kit and a body lift is out of the question. Also, i have been told that the 97 - 01 F150 2wd and 97 - 02 Expedition 2wd front coil springs are the same spring, how true is that? Becuase i have found a store that sells 2" longer front coil replacements for the 97-01 F150 so you can run 33's on the F150 2WD. All this being said, the rear of my Expedition wont be a problem, i can buy a set of 2 or 3 inch coil spacers, just wish they made them for the front of 97 - 02 Expeditions. All help is grately appreiciated.
