I have a 2002 Expedition 4x4 Eddie, the cruise control doesn't work. I replaced a clock spring, tried new set of buttons, servo & did diagnostic test (lite flashed with OFF & ON buttons only) did nothing with others. We used ohm meter & have connection from buttons when depressed to the servo.
Press off & any other buttons the Horn Blows!!:wtf2:
Any info of where to look would be a great Help!

I found the problem with my cruise control!
It was the pressure switch on the front of the master cylinder. $25.00 from my Ford dealer fixed it.
How to check it, unplug it & jumper wire the plug terminals & give it a try.

this was a major recall item some years back based on fires starting as the membrane deteoriated igniting the fluid/vapors.

glad you figured it out!

My 2001 F150 did too but then after about 4 years it quit working because the "fix" failed and I finally fixed it by replacing the recall fix. With the new pressure switch.
