2003 Door Lock Rod Fell Off

The lock rod fell off, so I took the panel off and see that I can reattach it. The problem is that the plastic clip that goes on the back of the key lock does not stay on.

I don't know what holds it in place, maybe a C-Clip?

What do you think?

There's one C-clip in there and a few plastic bushing clips. I'm not exactly sure which one you're talking about though. Look through this forum member's gallery and see if you see the rod and clip you're looking for. Ford Door Lock Actuator Repair

Its a pink plastic tab that swings on the rod. One end of the tab has a small hole that fits exactly over the knob on the back of the key/lock. Once I put it in place, it works fine but any movement will cause it to fall off.

I assume a c-clip will work, but I would like confirmation.
