2003 Electric seats

Im short ,and my seat used to lower itself for me automatically when I turned off the truck. Somehow it stoped doing this. I can use the "one" or "Two" buttons on the door to lower and raise the seat, but it doesnt lower automatically. When exit -I now Push the "two" button and the seat lowers for me. But when I lock it, the seat goes back up! So when I get in- I almost fall back out.
Can anyone tell me the proper procedure for setting these controls?
Thanks in advance.

There is a potentiometer sensor in the mechanism that may be bad - there is a TSB 05-9-4 on the problem. That might be your issue.

Without a shop manual, I couldn't say for sure what it is - I suspect it's a sensor that checks where the seat is and what position to return it to. I've noted that if I'm parked on a hill, it won't return to the programmed position when I put in the key. As far as warranty, you'd have to check with the stealership.
