I will be adding an electronic air horn to my expedition in the next week, and cant seem to find the hot wire for it in the cab. I was told I need to look for a yellow wire with light green stripe inside the vehicle, but just dont see one for the horn. I hate to run switch wires all the way to the front of the truck when the wire I need is inside where the switch needs to be. I have looked under the dash, in the dash, and in the driver kick pannel, but dont see it. Please let me know an easy spot inside where I can get to it for a switch wire. Thanks

I have no idea where the wire would be but I guess you plan on using this as your primary horn? Im not sure if an Electronic Air Horn is any different from my Air Horn but I have a completely seperate switch for it and used seperate wiring and have a tank in the back. I have heard stories of trucks getting pulled over and fined for their horns and that its a good idea to still be able to smash the steering wheel and have the original/ real horn go off.
My Air Horn is very much louder then stock and I would feel horrible if that was my only option to get a little old lady moving at a green light.

no, I am going to have a switch to turn on and off the air horn, but want to use the same trigger wire. Both will sound when the air horn is on, and only the factory horn will sound when the air horn is off.
